What we collect when you use this website or write to us, why, and what your rights are. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by Immune Macro-Biotic Technology UK Ltd (“IMBT”, “we”), Torquay, Devon, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described here. To ask us anything about it, email cjleonard@imbt.org.
What we collect, and why
If you send us an enquiry
The enquiry forms on the Contact and Partnerships pages ask for your name, email address and message, and optionally your organisation, your sector and what you are interested in. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry and to carry on any conversation that follows. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and, where you ask us to, taking steps before an agreement is made.
The form sends this information as an email to the founder. It is not stored in a database on the website. If you write to us by email instead, we receive the same details, plus anything you include.
Technical information
Like any website, our web host records standard technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, the page asked for, the date and time, and your browser type. This is kept in server logs for running, securing and troubleshooting the site. We do not use it to identify you.
To limit spam, the enquiry form also keeps a short-lived technical record of how many times a connection has used it in the past hour. It is not linked to your name or message and is not kept beyond that hour.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing, and we do not share it for advertising. It is handled by the services that run this website and our email: our web hosting provider, and the email provider that delivers messages to our inbox. They act on our instructions. We will share information if the law requires it.
Some of these services may be based outside the UK. Where that is so, we rely on the safeguards the UK GDPR requires.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as it is needed to deal with it and any relationship that comes from it. If nothing follows, we delete it within a reasonable period. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. It has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not store anything on your device to remember you. Because of that, there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to accept or refuse.
The typefaces (Fraunces and Inter) are served from this website itself, so loading a page does not send your details to Google or any other font service.
The enquiry forms need JavaScript on this site to send without reloading the page. They do not use cookies.
Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn or Google Patents, take you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- restrict how we use it, or object to our using it.
Email cjleonard@imbt.org and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would welcome the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date.
